Stanley Cup Needs Spell Check

For hockey players, those few seconds of skating with the Lord Stanley's Cup is what they work for their entire career. Just think, their name will be forever etched on the sports most cherished possession. Sometimes the engraver doesn't always get it right and it's kind of hard to change a letter. Here's a great report from the WSJ.com on why spell check might be needed when engraving the Stanley Cup.



So Valtteri Filppula or Pavel Datsyuk of the Detroit Red Wings or Ruslan Fedotenko or Evgeni Malkin of the Pittsburgh Penguins be warned. It's not perfect.
