BREAKING NEWS: Montreal Wins 97th Grey Cup

Montreal Alouettes kicker Damon Duval nailed his second-chance field goal from 34 yards out as time expired to give the Als a 28-27 win over the Saskatchewan Roughriders to win the 97th Grey Cup- the Canadian Football League version of the Super Bowl.

Initially, Duval missed wide from 44 yards out, but the Green Riders were penalized for having too many men on the field.

In the CFL, it's a 10-yarder...

Duval made the mulligan to finish the season 16-3...

And, yes, it's that Damon Duval...

The Als were down 16 points with less than half a quarter to go at McMahon Stadium in Calgary. But a TD pass from Anthony Calvillo to Ben Cahoon brought the Als within two with a little over three minutes left.

They missed the two-point conversion to keep the score at 27-25, and the Als defense made a stand to get the ball back for a game-winning possession.

The Als led only once all day- at the finish...

Here's the game-winning kick and the last five minutes of the game in real time...
