Serena out $82 Large for the Holidays
The profanity laced tirade that Serena Williams unleashed at the U.S Open back in early September has proven to be a bit expensive for her. Since it was a "Grand Slam" offense, she was fined the max...$82,500 to be exact and she was put on probation for the next 2 years. Should she commit another "Offense" during that period, the fine would double to $172,ooo and she be barred from the next U.S Open.
