Minor League Hockey Coach Throws Class-A Nutty

((HT: KATC-TV/Lafayette, Louisiana))

First and foremost... we introduce you to the Southern Professional Hockey League...

They've had varying numbers of franchises in the southeast since the guy who started (and failed at) WHA2 created this league.

Right now, the number is seven...
2 of them, Columbus and Lafayette were in the ECHL back in the day and decided because of economics to drop, fold, and re-create themselves here...

This is the IceGators first year back, and it's not going well.
They're 2-5... they've already fired one coach and coach two lasted two games.

IceGators' former-interim head coach and still-president/general manager Brent Sapergia lost it in a game against the new version of the Pensacola Ice Flyers back on Friday.

He received a game misconduct for the second straight night and was suspended from coaching, indefinitely, by the league.

Here's the nutty that got him booted back upstairs... he gives the officials anything that wasn't tied down...

Thanks to our friends at KATC in Lafayette for the raw video...

The IceGators actually haved hired their third coach this season...
They're no longer accepting resumes...
For now...
