Jarboe Gets A Movie Gallery Of His Own

Get your head out of the gutter...

Troy Head Football Coach Larry Blakeney announced Wednesday afternoon that former Oklahoma University wide receiver-rap star Josh Jarboe ((pictured, thanks ajc.com)) is transferring to the school. The graduate of Cedar Grove High School in suburban Atlanta was regarded as a Top-10 high school prospect at receiver before accepting a scholarship to attend OU.

While at OU, he decided to free-style into someone's recording device on campus and his stylings were released to the world.

That drew the ire of Sooners Head Coach Bob Stoops among others, and Jarboe was asked to return his Oklahoma citizenship and had his passport to the Big-12 revoked.

"Troy University has always been interested in providing opportunities for young people to better themselves, and this is a situation where a young man who has made some mistakes is looking for a second chance,” Blakeney said. “I have met with Josh, and I am convinced that he is ready, and willing, to do the things we need for him to do to be a productive member of both this football team and the Troy University community.”

Just keep all recording devices away from earshot, eh, coach...?

The key to whether or not Jarboe can immediately play at Troy is the idea that he, either, was or wasn't actually enrolled at OU and was taking classes in Norman.
