According to multiple newspapers ((you remember those, don't you...?)) in the state of Florida, Gators TE Cornelius Ingram ((pictured, thanks gatorzone.com)) is having more problems than those related to his torn ACL that ended his football career at the University of Florida.
Specifically, the idea of paying rent to have a roof over his head...
Ingram has been issued a complaint for eviction and damages in Alachua County court as his landlord is looking for back rent from the Gainesville apartment he used to live in.
Jeremy Fowler and Brian Steele from the Orlando Sentinel relay that the thousand-dollar-plus rent that Ingram is supposed to be forking over by the 5th of each month hasn't been forked over since "before July 7th." The parent company of the apartment complex is also looking to recoup filing and legal fees.
((What does that mean...? He hasn't paid since the Nixon Administration or something...??))
David Jones from Florida Today adds that Ingram has been at home rehabilitating and had the eviction notice filed in his direction the day before he ruptured the ligament at practice.
Even better, Gator players are required to stay with each other during two-a-days and the sequester doesn't help matters much for dealing with those of us in the outside world.
I guess the landlord gets a penalty for piling on...
