Apparently CBS Sports Golf Analyst David Fehrety has, shall we say, stuck his foot in his mouth. Feherty authored a story for "D" Magazine in Dallas where he spoke about American Soldiers being as likely to knock off Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid as easily as they would Osama Bin Laden. Feherty, who is generally considered a humorous and insightful analyst has unfortunately probably stepped into a very public minefield. While he may not have meant for what he said to come out the way it did...it ain't good. CBS Sports, who isn't televising golf this week, has come out publicly distancing themselves from the comments. It will be very interesting to see what they do and how they handle this.

Oh, no. I used to have such a crush on David Fehrety. Sometimes I would watch just because he was on. So, what is he doing repeating such a lame, nasty joke about killing someone. It demeans our soldiers and himself. These kind of jokes can have any name substituted, and they still aren't funny. Sigh. That is now stuck in my mind.
