Saints Release Arrested Players

((HT: WVUE-TV))

The New Orleans Saints have cut two players who were arrested over the weekend.

Receiver Biren Ealy and Kolomona Kapanui were arrested early Sunday morning by Jefferson Parish authorities, who booked the two players with obscenity, disturbing the peace and lewd conduct.

Authorities alleged that they were drunk, urinated in public and exposed themselves to two women in the parking lot of an apartment complex where they live.

The players' lawyer, Donald "Chick" Foret, says the players did nothing obscene.

The Saints released the pair on Tuesday afternoon and signed three new players: running back Herb Donaldson, offensive tackle Augustus Parrish and wide receiver Chris Vaughn.
