TWTW: Air Force Wins Armed Forces Bowl Grounding Houston

((HT: KKTV, Colorado Springs))

The running gag was that they oughta re-name the Armed Forces Bowl since Air Force was involved... you know, turn it in to the "Ground Forces Bowl."

Jared Tew runs for 173 yards as the Zoomies ran for 403 overall...

Case Keenum was handcuffed all game long and finished the day with only 222 yards passing and SIX INTERCEPTIONS... two off deflections, but most created when the Air Force front seven had their hands up to clog passing lanes...

Keenum talked for all of 78-seconds in his postgame comments- not taking any questions... He had submitted his name to the NFL's evaluation committee to see if it would be worth his while to come out after his junior year. Those of us at OSG HQ think this showing should yield his answer...

Keenum threw for six picks in his previous twelve games this year and matched the total in the Dallas bowl game by its lonesome...

Strange what sound defensive fundamentals will do for you...

Here's some abbreviated highlights and post, thanks to our friends at KKTV in Colorado Springs...
