In, this video you are about to watch, Chapman, he of the 105mph fastball comes in, mumbles few phrases that require subtitles and allegedly throws a pitch that obliterates a pinata hanging over home plate.
While the idea is a sound one, notice the windup and throwing motion. Not a lot of effort there. Having seen Chapman throw in person, his game windup is considerably tighter and more intense.
But, it makes for a nice effect and props to "The Cuban Missle" for getting his first commercial deal.
