Bowl season has been a major downer for the ACC. Boston College, Clemson, North Carolina and Miami all lost their bowl games giving the ACC an 0-4 bowl season to start.Virginia Tech's 37-14 Chick-Fil-A bowl win over Tennessee is huge for the Hokies and the ACC. Not only did the conference finally get a win in a bowl game, but it came against an SEC school.
ACC Rookie of the Year Ryan Williams gained 117 yards to become the Hokies all time single season rushing leader with 1,655 and his 2 touchdowns in the game gave Williams 22 for 2009 setting an ACC record.
