Coming into this week's games, South Bend ((IN))-Washington High WR Gehrig Deiter had the top spot for receiving yards by almost 270 total yards.
Deiter expanded those numbers with, what looks like, the new national record for yards in a game with 447 yards in a 63-10 win over Elkhart-Central.
Dieter broke the 2008 mark of 421 yards set by J.D. Felice of Rose Bud ((AR)) in a game against England High.
In Washington's season opener, Dieter broke the Indiana state record with 373 receiving yards- 8th highest on the national list.
