Dan LeFevour led Central Michigan to its third Mid-American Conference championship in four seasons and completed 28 of 39 for 255 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in a 20-10 victory over Ohio at Ford Field.
His first touchdown pass, 14 yards to freshman receiver Cody Wilson, broke a Football Subdivision record for career total touchdowns. LeFevour passed Colt Brennan of Hawaii and Graham Harrell of Texas Tech, who each had 146.
The touchdown pass also was the 100th of LeFevour's career.
The Chippewas will now wait to find out which bowl game they will be in. The GMAC Bowl has first choice among the three bowls that have MAC affiliations. So, it's either Mobile, Detroit, or Toronto...
WZZM's Tom Clyde caught up with LeFevour before the game, and the records are discussed ahead of time...
