You have to feel a little bad for Hiroki Kuroda of the LA Dodgers today. Kuroda was pitching last night in a game against the Arizona Diamondbacks when a line drive was hit right at him. He didn't have any time to react.

Gary Miller takes you through it...
Kuroda was lucky. The line drive off the bat of Arizona's Rusty Ryal ricoched all the way back to the backstop. The game pretty much stopped as Kuroda had to be carted off of the field.
Now, for the good news. Kuroda was released from the Hospital and will rejoin the team in time for Sunday's game. He also will be able to fly back to L.A. with the Dodgers after the game. According to manager Joe Torre "He's a lucky man".
