To the surprise of no one, the Florida Gators are the near-unanimous choice as the #1 ranked team in College Football. In fact, they got 58 out of 60 first place votes, the other 2 going to Texas.
The over-hyped preseason pollsters seem to think the Gators will repeat and they have several teams in what we can only say are..."Interesting" postions. But, as we all know, preseason polls are "NEVER" right at the end of the year and really, if you think about it don't mean a whole lot other than they pretty much eliminate a large chunk of Division 1 teams from reaching BCS Game status before the season ever starts. But enough of my logical ranting...here is your story from CBSSports.com.
