Perrillioux Not Minding Again. Suspended For Jacksonville State Season Opener At Georgia Tech

Ryan Perrilloux, the same quarterback that was booted from LSU, has been a bad boy again.

Friday Jacksonville head coach Jack Crowe announced that Perrilloux has been suspended for the Gamecocks season opener at Georgia Tech on September 5th for a violation of team rules, which could me anything.

“Due to an incident that occurred during the spring, Ryan has been suspended for the first game against Georgia Tech,” Crowe said in a statement by Jacksonville State sports information. “This is not the result of any legal circumstances and is strictly a violation of the strict guidelines he came here under."

Perrilloux transferred to Jacksonville State last season after being kicked off the LSU team for skipping classes, arriving late for conditioning, failing to show up at team meetings and other high crimes and misdemeanors.

Crowe did say that Perrilloux will be back to start against Florida State, JSU' s second game of the year.

He passed for 2,318 yards and 19 touchdowns last season. Crowe said Perrilloux would return to the starting job against Florida State in the second game.

CBS CS/CSTV did a story on The Perrilloux on his transfer to JSU
So much for this idea...

And so much for all the "trust and discpline" Crowe instilled in his QB...

Sophomore Marques Ivory is expected to start against the Yellow Jackets.

Those of us at OSG HQ covered Ivory when he was a high school star at Northside-Warner Robins. Give him time and targets, and he could be a quality QB.
