The Dirty Dozen and Bottom of the Barrel Protest the BCS!

Greetings College Football fans, we began last weeks episode with a call to protest, complain, rattle your sabers and anything else that you can think of against the conspiracy that is...the BCS.

We said this before and we will say it again. Why go through with this poll when we KNOW who is going to be in the championship game now! We know that it will be Florida or Alabama versus Texas. It has been pre-ordained...the rest of the "Top 10" schools do not have a chance...period. You know this is true. I'm finding that people who reside outside the SEC or the Big 12 don't like this. They think the SEC is Overrated. SEC fans of course just laugh and say "Who's been in or won all the last few championships?" "We have". Yes...they have, but that is because they are all but guaranteed one of the 2 championship game slots.

But, enough of my high horse. I IMPLORE YOU ALL...PROTEST THE BCS...COMPLAIN...OFTEN. TELL THEM IT IS UNEQUAL AND UNFAIR...IT IS YOUR FOOTBALL FANS RIGHT!!!!!

On that note, let's look at this week's clip from the You Tube where the recruits begin learning there new skills:

And on that note; it's On with the Countdown (Thanks, Casey)

The Dirty Dozen:

1) Florida 8-0 (OK...I dare say that they got there Mojo back last week. That actually looked like the #1 team in College Football for maybe the 1st time this season. Though it might also have been that Georgia couldn't stand up due to the amount of holes they've gathered shooting themselves in the foot. This Week: Florida 34, Vandy 13)
2) Texas 8-0 (They too seem to have found their Mojo last week. Or maybe Okie State isn't all that...who knows. If they can continue on this path, there ticket is punched. The only thing maybe standing in there way is Texas A&M and that isn't that scary. This Week: Texass 47, UCF 19)
3) TCU 8-0 (I still like this team and don't think either of the teams above them want any part of 'em. They can play "D" with the best of them and have some "O" as well. This Week: TCU 44, San Diego St. 12)
4) Alabama 8-0 (Yeah, they are suffering a bit from playing Bye Week this past week, but they should be judged a bit on the performance vs. Tennessee. They have to get better QB play if they want to run the table, we know what Mark Ingram can do already. This Week: Alabama 16, LSU 14)
5) Cincinnati 8-0 (These guys just keep throttling everyone that they play. Doesn't matter who the QB is, the system works. They deserve more love than they've gotten though at least they didn't drop again after winning. This Week: Cincinnati 24, UConn 19)
6) Boise St. 8-0 (This is where the weak schedule starts to hurt. As much as they were everyone's darlings early, some better darlings have emerged. They will be undefeated when decision time happens. This Week: Boise St. 31, La.Tech 21)
7) Iowa 8-0 (How many times can they create magic in the 4th qtr? They seem to play just good enough to win. That will catch up with them at some point. I just don't think they are this good. This Week: Iowa 24, Northwestern 21)
8) Oregon 7-1 (Look out for this team. This is your PAC 10 rep. This year, it just means they will play in the Rose Bowl. Still, they'd be a tough out for just about anyone. This Week: Oregon 35, Stanford 18)
9) LSU 7-1 (They seem to have ironed out some kinks on offense. They had a practice game last week to prepare for this one. I think Jordan Jefferson will be a very good QB, I just don't know that he is there yet. This Week: SEE #4)
10) Georgia Tech 8-1 (Another team nobody wants to play. When the offense clicks, its almost impossible to stop. It's just funny that Coach Paul Johnson doesn't try to hide what he runs, he knows his guys will execute better than yours. This Week: Ga. Tech 38, Wake Forest 20)
11) Penn State 7-1 (They've taken care of business. Give them much props for that. They also are lucky they play in the Crappy 10. There a couple of landmines ahead including one on Saturday. This Week: Penn St. 28, Ohio St. 24)
12) Pittsburgh 7-1 (Again, another Big East team who is flying under the radar. They quietly go about there business and keep moving forward. A very experienced team, which makes them dangerous. This Week: Pitt 31, Syracuse 13)

The Bottom of the Barrel:

5) Washington St. 1-7 (They are bad Jerry, bad I tell you. A small portion of the country was subjected to them last Saturday on the Notredame Broadcast Corporation (NBC). Now you know why I keep talking about how much they suck. Don't look for that to change. This Week: Arizona 37, Wash St. 10)
4) Eastern Michigan 0-8 (Really, what do you say here? Are they not good? Yes. Do they have a chance at being good? No. Do we care about there game? Not really. This Week: Northern Illinois 30, E. Mich. 13)
3) Rice Krispies 0-8 (Just how many cereal jokes am I going to have to manufacture this season? Come on guys...I'm hurting for material here? In honor of Halloween last week, I'm just wondering if they were scared off by Boo Berry or something? Maybe Count Chocula sucked the ability out of them? I don't know...This Week: SMU 31, Fruity Pebbles 7)
2) Western Kentucky 0-8 (Well, the good news is they sort of were in the game. The bad news it was against North Texas...who had to put up 68 points to win. Yawn...I don't want to talk about them anymore. This Week: Troy 103, W.Kentucky 21)
1) New Mexico 0-8 (Loved the story about former Assistant J.B Gerald a few days ago. Anyone else want to pile on the Locksley's. I didn't know that Tee Martin was coaching there. Poor Tee, he's a great guy and probably will be a good coach, but he needs to run away from these guys...NOW. This Week: Utah 28, Ron Mexico 7)

Last Week: 10-3 Overall: 88-30. Maybe I should play for the BCS Championship, since I already picked who will be in it? Don'tcha think?
