Verlander's only baserunner was with one out in the eighth inning when J.P. Arencibia walked on a full count- on Verlander's 12th pitch of the at-bat.
It was the fourth time the Blue Jays have been no-hit in the team's existence- the last was by the Texas Rangers' Nolan Ryan, on his 7th no-hitter May 1, 1991.
