Does anyone else find humor in the story about Phil Mickelson and the investment group that he is involved with trying to take over Waffle House's largest franchisee? While those of us here in the South know that a good day of golf starts with a good breakfast from someplace such as the Waffle House, it isn't exactly a national trend.

Mickelson's fluctuating weight aside, this is an interesting business move, most in the South are all too familiar with the Waffle House's, they are a fixture at pretty much every interstate exit. There is no guarantee his group will win out, but if they do...oooh boy will there be some jokes made about it.
