Well, call us surprised. It appears Denver Broncos Wide Receiver Brandon Marshall wasn't guilty of battery charges filed against him in Atlanta. Marshall's lawyer went so far to say that the former girlfriend Rasheedaj Watley, was "Looking for money" out of Marshall.

Marshall, who has been in and out of trouble during his tenure in the NFL, served a suspension in 2008 for violating the League Conduct Policy. This obvioulsy will help keep him off of that list this year. He is playing for a new contract as his rookie deal is set to expire after this coming season. We will see if (a) he stays out of trouble and (b) performs well enough to get a new deal.
