It's been a rough week for the Oklahoma State Cowboys. On Saturday, they got manhandled by the Nebraska Cornhuskers, ruining their undefeated season.

And then there's this. Wide Receiver Justin Blackmon, a potential All-american candidate, leading the NCAA in multiple receiving statistics, was arrested early this morning while speeding through Carrollton, Texas...and charged with DUI. Before you ask, Blackmon was apparently at Jerry World, watching former teammate and current Dallas Cowboy Dez Bryant play on Monday Night Football.

This...well, there really isn't anything good that can be said about this. We don't know what Blackmon's status is for the next game...or games. Oklahoma State, for their part, didn't say much, apparently Coach Mike Gundy ducked his media interviews for the day. The school did release a statement, essentially saying...."No comment".

We don't normally hammer on athletes for occasionally making mistakes, because they do happen and since they are athletes, it gets magnified. However, this was just plain stupid. The one question not asked in all of this is where Blackmon got his tickets...or was he on the sidelines?

Either way...big problem, we'll see when, if or how it gets addressed in the next couple of days.

Here's how our friends at KFOR-TV in Oklahoma City addressed it...

Remember what we always say about things that happen after 1AM...???
