Foot-Brawl In Ontario

((HT: Hamilton Spectator))

It's stuff like this that sets sports back hundreds of years...

Take you to Hamilton, Ontario...

Ivor Wynne Stadium is the home to the C-NFL Tiger-Cats and to, what Americans would call, semi-pro/college-age football...

A fight broke out in the stands at the end of a "junior league" playoff game between the Hamilton Hurricanes ((the home team)) and the St. Leonard Cougars ((the visitors from Montreal)).

St. Leonard players climbed into the stands behind their bench and here's what went down...

According to the Spec's Paul Morse and Larry Moko, the local police are not investigating the brawl since no one came forward to press charges.

The police are calling it a "consensual fight..." and the Hurricanes are debating asking the police to reopen their investigation...
