Oklahoma State outgained Kansas State 511-289, and the largeer question was the idea of a Cowboys offense without WR Justin Blackmon. Blackmon was serving a one-game suspension for alleged drinking and driving shenanigans last MOnday.
All Blackmon was was the nation's leader in receiving yards per game, total receiving yards, scoring and touchdown catches
But after a 7-7 halftime score, OSU QB Brandon Weeden, No. 2 in the nation in yards passing per game, would wrap up 22 of 39 for 298 yards and two TD's. One was to Michael Harrison with a 15-yarder in the second quarter and Josh Cooper in the third quarter. Kendall Hunter ran for 143 yards on 28 carries.
