Sunday night, the Philadelphia Eagles solved their quarterback logjam by trading Donovan McNabb to the Washington Redskins for a second-round selection in the upcoming draft and a conditional 3rd or 4th-round pick in 2011.
This means that the Eagles QB competition is between Kevin Kolb and Michael Vick, the Eagles have now purged $20-million from their books in an uncapped year, and that all blue hell has officially broken loose in the NFL- again.
WIP610's Anthony Gargano says the deal was not Andy Reid's to make...

"I'm really excited about my future with the Washington Redskins," McNabb said in an interview with the Washington Post's Michael Wilbon. "I'm eager to work with Coach [Mike] Shanahan. He's been a very successful coach with a couple of Super Bowl victories on his resume. While it has been my goal to win a Super Bowl in Philadelphia, we came up short. I enjoyed my 11 years, and know we shared a lot more good times than bad."
The gut feeling of the HQ is that Daniel Snyder and Mike Shanahan are far from done. Look for Jason Campbell to be moved- possibly to St. Louis along with one of the three running backs in camp ((Are you listening Clinton Portis...??)) and the 4th pick to trade up to the Rams' draft spot to pick up Sam Bradford after all.
McNabb is now. Bradford is later...
