It looks like we have a decision on Pittsburgh Steeler QB, Ben Roethlisberger. According to reports, Boorish Ben will be sitting for a minimum of 4 games and possibly as much as 6 games for the upcoming season as per NFL Commisioner Roger Goodell.

There are however conditions according to ESPN, who reports that it can be reduced based on Ben's behavior and his compliance with clinical evaluators.
Based on multiple reports, it appears as though Roethlisberger will not appeal the suspension, nor will the NFLPA.
What it means is that the Steelers will start the season with either Dennis Dixon, Charlie Batch or the recently acquired Byron Leftwich under center for at least a quarter of their games, it will make it difficult for them to get back to the playoffs, something they were unable to do last season.
**Update per NFL VP Greg Aiello, suspension is officially 6 games with intensive behavioral counseling, can increase beyond 6 or drop to 4.***
