Texas Stadium go BOOM!



Times, they a changin'. A part of football...and Dallas Cowboy history is no longer. This morning, venerable Texas Stadium in Irving, Texas, the former home of the Dallas Cowboys was imploded this morning.

The team spent 38 years in the oddly shaped stadium that featured just a somewhat smallish slit on the top of it. Enough to let some daylight and some weather occasionally cover the field.

Yes, there was more than just Cowboy football at the stadium. Countless big name music acts, county fairs, soccer games, boxing matches and believe it or not cinco de mayo celebrations. (thanks Dallas morning news for the stats).
