Brian Gay's First Augusta Major Tourney

((HT: WJBF-TV Augusta))

It was a special weekend for Brian Gay.

The Louisville, Georgia resident made his debut in the Augusta-based golf tournament that is the world's first major of the 2010 season, shooting a 2-over-par 74 in round one and a five-over par 77 in round two... four strokes off the cut line.

The two days may have been even more special for his family and a lot of his Louisville friends.
The HQ wonders how he got all the badges he was asked for...

Just before he teed off on his first 18th hole of the week, Brian got a good luck hug from his adorable oldest daughter, Makinley.

Brian’s Mom, Margaret, has seen her son play in many tournaments, but finally got to watch him tee it up at Augusta for the first time...
