God Bless America

This is a day of remembrance and respect...

Yeah, there are baseball games and cookouts. There are fireworks displays and parades. There are those who have lost. There are those separated from their loved ones, and there are those who are lucky enough to be with those who have returned.

Under a merciful ((insert divine being here)), some have returned home without a physical wound. But the wounds may be in other places not found with a scalpel or an X-ray machine.

On this day, of all days, we should remember all those who have served or are serving to keep us free from those who would do us harm- and those who will do us harm without a second thought. And we all should make a point to thank them when we see them- regardless of what their experience did to them. It was that exact experience that keeps us all how we are.

Enjoy...
