McCourts Trademark "Los Doyers"

Are they really THAT hard up for cash...???
The obvious answer is, yes, they damn well are that hard up for cash considering what they just did...

Taking a phrase a FORMER player spoke in public and decided to trademark it...
We all know that when Manny was being Manny in Mannytown, he couldn't say "Dodgers."

It came out "Doyers..."

Now, instead of capitalizing on the situation when Manny was a hot commodity, they decided to wait until he was long gone...

Here's Roger Lodge with the explainer... in his Sports Lodge...

So as in the case with most failed relationships, the act by the McCourts was done long after the idea to save something was long out the door... the parallels with their current in-court battles are easy to pick up...
