The Crimson Tide Roll Over Duke

Did you expect a different outcome Saturday when Alabama played Duke. The Crimson Tide crushed the Blue Devils 62-13 in front of 39,042 at Wallace Wade Stadium in Durham, the largest crowd since 1994.

Let's face it, this game was over with during pre-game warm ups.

Mark Ingram returned to the Alabama line-up and the first time Ingram touched the ball he broke off and 48 yard run. The reigning Heisman Trophy winner was no match to the Duke defense rushing for 151 yards and two touchdowns.

Duke head coach David Cutcliffe went to Alabama and was a student assistant when Paul "Bear" Bryant was the head coach. Cutcliffe says he's never seen a better Alabama football team.

Florida should be another tough opponent for Alabama after they narrowly beat Arkansas last week. The SEC is the top conference this season and even with 1 loss Alabama may still play for the title again.
