During a Wednesday-night ECHL brawl between the Florida Everblades and the Gwinnett Gladiators, Florida goalie Bobby Goepfert left the crease as part of the on-ice do-se-do. Gwinnett's Billy Sauer skated out and challenged Goepfert, which resulted in the two goalies standing at centre ice trying to figure out how to hit each other without looking like non-hockey players trying to hit each other.

The HQ has covered its share of ECHL games and this, really, is about average. The league is supposed to be a proving ground for every player and their specific role in higher levels.
