
Pedroia got 16 out of 28 first place votes easily beating out 2006 A.L MVP Justin Morneau of the Minnesota Twins.
Pedroia had 17 home runs, 83 RBI's and batted .326.
Pedroia is the first Red Sox player to win the A.L. MVP since Roger Clemens did it in 1986.
