See, We Told You. Kiffin Going To Tennessee

It appears that an announcement by the University of Tennessee and Lane Kiffin is eminent. As OSG reported Tuesday, Lane Kiffin will be named the new head football coach at Tennessee. An announcement is expected by UT on Monday according to OSG sources close to the situation.

Now the 4 letter word has caught on our trail.

Fox Sports.com is also playing catch up.

The Knoxville News Sentinel at least had the class to mention of media reports surfaced earlier in the week. You can read that right here.

You will also read that former Ole Miss head football coach Ed Orgeron is a possibility to join Kiffin's staff at Tennessee, they coached together at Southern California. It is also possible that Lane Kiffin's father Monte Kiffin, who is considered one of the best defensive coordinators in the National Football League, could join the staff. Former Nebraska and (how ironic) Oakland Raiders head coach Bill Callahan's name has been mentioned as a possibility to.

OSG sources can't confirm who would be Kiffin's assistants but it is known that the yet to be but will be announced new UT head coach has been assembling a staff recently.

OSG will keep you updated.
