Breaking News
: New York TV station WABC is reporting that the owner of the New York Yankees, George Steinbrenner, was rushed to the hospital this morning with what is described as an apparent massive heart attack.

Steinbrenner, who is 80 years old, hasn't been in great health the past couple of years and has not been seen much in public for that very reason. Obviously, it goes without saying that he is one of the original "Personalities" to ever own a professional sports team and had a lot to do with the changes in baseball since he took over the team in 1973.

We will follow this story and bring you updates when we are able.

((Update 9:40am: He is in the hospital in Tampa, near his home in what has been called critical condition))
