The reason for this even being mentioned; Harper blew the kiss after he had just hit a home run for his Hagerstown minor league team. He hit it off Greensboro Grasshoppers' pitcher Zachary Neal.
And while hitting homeruns is good, running the bases and blowing a kiss to the pitcher after rounding 3rd, isn't looked upon very well. By the way, Bryce Harper is last years number 1 draft pick by the Washington Nationals and is tearing up the Class A South Atlantic League.
