Mark Grace Busted For DUI

((HT: Arizona Republic))

Arizona Diamondbacks broadcaster Mark Grace ((pictured, thanks Scottsdale Police Department via azcentral.com)) was arrested in the Phoenix suburb of Scottsdale on Memorial Day on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol above the legal limit of .08, according to a police report.

Grace was stopped shortly after 1AM after he "made a wide right turn and police observed him weaving within his lane..."

And what is it that we say about nothing good ever happening after certain times of day...???

He did not have his wallet or license with him at the time of the arrest, and admitted to "having a few drinks," police said.

Grace was also charged with "being DUI-impaired to the slightest degree..."

Whatever that means... the HQ would like to ask if there are not-so-slight degrees of impaired driving in the state of Arizona... and, apparently, there are...

And that's kinda silly... because, as the public service announcement says, "buzzed driving is drunk driving..."

RantSports caught up with Gracie a few months ago to ask about this broadcasting thing...
