We are only half-kidding with the headline. Tampa Bay Linebacker Geno Hayes was hit with a stun gun and arrested outside a Tampa nightclub around 2 a.m Monday morning.

Hayes, was charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct after being told to leave by folks at the Blue Martini club. He apparently didn't take to kindly to it. Hayes posted bail and was released around 5 a.m.

We're assuming that since Hayes was out, partying and mean that he must not have exerted himself too much in the Buccaneers 17-16 win in Washington Sunday afternoon. The team flew back after the game, which ended around 4 p.m, so we are guessing they were home by 7 or 8 since the teams don't wait to long to get on their bus and head to the airport.

The Bucs have had a few off the field incidents already this season. Starting receiver Mike Williams got arrested for DUI just a couple of weeks ago. Now former Tight End Jeremy Stevens was busted for possession and intent to sell marijuana back in October. And lest we forget, Cornerback Aqib Talib was suspended for violation the conduct policy after a 2009 arrest.

Hayes is apparently familiar with the Stun Gun, having been stunned in another incident in 2007, where he was arrested in Tallahassee back when he played for Florida State.

Mr. Hayes got to feel what it's like to be Tasered, here's what it's like to be STUNNED:
