Fitzhugh Chooses Stability Over NFL

((HT: MyFoxAtlanta))

Keith Fitzhugh told the New York Jets he’d rather keep his stable job on the railroad, and he says he has no regrets. He was a star at Mississippi State, and before that at Lovejoy ((GA)) High School.

With the injury to Jim Leonhard, the Jets called and wated to know if Keith would be interested in joining for a paycheck of $18K a week.

But...

Three months ago, Fitzhugh started working for Norfolk Southern as a train conductor-- a job that allows him to stay in Georgia and help his parents. Fitzhugh says his parents raised him to be a man of his word.
