Kaymer Wins PGA, Johnson Denied Playoff

A lot of times, we remember who the champ is in a given sporting event.
More often than not, we don't remember who finished second...
But, here's a chance to remember who finished third in the 2010 PGA...

Dustin Johnson completely imploded for a final-round 82 at the US Open at Pebble Beach in late June. He had the lead after 54 holes, but after going triple bogey-double bogey-bogey in a three-hole stretch on the front, he was toast.

He was in contention on the last day of the PGA, had a chance to win, missed that putt, but thought he was headed to a playoff.

But that didn't happen...

Here's the 72nd hole from Johnson's point-of-view

Yep, he violated the rules... and Martin Kaymer won the tourney in a playoff with Bubba Watson. But we'll join the fray to ask the PGA watch itself better when it comes to policing the spirit of the law...

Here's more post with Johnson. Tom Rinaldi takes the toss...
