Tennessee High Schooler Remembered In Season Opener

((HT: WJHL-TV Tri-Cities))

One year ago the HQ started its high school football coverage with a sad story out of Tennessee.

Sullivan South High School Senior captain Jake Logue collapsed during their game against Knoxville West. The cause of death was concluded to be a bicuspid aortic valve- a condition Jake was born with. This year, the season opener for South was at home in the return game.

South held a ceremony in Logue's honor, retiring his jersey, as both schools were united in strength, celebration, and memory.

Here's 11Connects package on the event...

And here's your highlights from our friends at WBIR-TV in Knoxville...
