Angels outfielder Torii Hunter has been suspended for four games after his run-in with umpire Ron Kulpa Friday night.
He decided not to appeal, meaning the suspension started immediately.
Hunter was ejected for arguing a called third strike in the eighth inning of Los Angeles' 4-2 victory against the Detroit Tigers. The whole at-bat was testy between Hunter and Kulpa as Hunter, after the game, elaborated about what he thought was an odd strike zone from the beginning of the game.
