BREAKING: Islanders Fire Scott Gordon

Well, that didn't last very long. The New York Islanders, kings of last place hockey and stuck in a morgue to play their games, have apparently parted ways with head coach Scott Gordon. His replacement will be Bridgeport (Minor Leagues) coach Jack Capuano.

However Gordon apparently keeps his job as an assistant to GM Garth Snow? That we don't get. The Isles are off to a rousing 4-10-3 start this season and have lost their last 10 games.
