Georgia Tech loses to Kennesaw St.--ACC Basketball, you have issues too.

We find this humorous because we used to work down there, have covered both teams and know the situations involved.

Georgia Tech, a one-time ACC Basketball contender has been for the most part reduced to ACC bystander these days. However, nobody could've seen (well, maybe those who saw them barely beat Clark Atl last week), that they would lose not only to an Atlantic Sun team, but not even a "Top Flight" Atlantic Sun team.

Yes, you are correct, Kennesaw St. beat Georgia Tech......by 17 (80-63).

We congratulate coach Tony Ingle and his Owls and it sounds like they may still be celebrating in Kennesaw. Generally, games like this are a favor from the local powerhouse, to the local small school. But...we suspect that might change.

This also foreshadows some other potential ACC Basketball issues. Sure, North Carolina and Duke will be good. Virginia Tech will be decent with Malcom Delaney. But....Wake Forest lost by 10 to Atlantic Sun bottom dweller Stetson. Va. Tech barely beat A-Sun member Campbell and even North Carolina struggled with A-Sun team Lipscomb.

Hmmm. Maybe the A-Sun should call ESPN, they might be a better fit for the ACC/Big 10 showdown then either the ACC or...the Big 10.

Here is some Ga.Tech post game where they try and figure out what just happened. Thanks RamblinWreckTube/YouTube:
