For those who don't know about LeGrand, he is the 20-year old Rutgers football player who was paralyzed during a game against Army on October 16th. He has been in a hospital ever since.

The good news, today, the family released a statement through the Rutgers Sports information department saying that LeGrand has been removed from a ventilator and is now able to breathe on his own.

His injury, is now classified as an "Incomplete Spinal Cord Injury" and is supposed to leave him with a better overall prognosis then previous reports.
