OSG High: St. Thomas Aquinas Head Coach Retiring

George Smith, who coached St. Thomas Aquinas High to six Florida state championships and two of those (what we'll use with air quotes) "mythical" national titles in the last three years, has announced his retirement.

Smith won 361 games and led his teams to 13 Florida state-title games in 34 seasons. He only had one losing season, and he's one of only four coaches in Florida history with six state championships.

Smith had more than 580 players go on to play college football, 30 of them reaching the pros.

Here's what signing day was like at St. Thomas Aquinas- 35 strong...

The HQ still thinks Camden shoulda beat them last year at their place...
