OU/Texas: The Red River Rivalry Kicks Off Saturday

The Red River Rivalry between Oklahoma and Texas has to be the biggest sporting event in the DFW metroplex not played in Jerry World.

This great game still takes place in the old Cotton Bowl stadium which has been expanded to over 90,000 just to keep this game in that venue.

The Sooners and Horns tangle again Saturday. We will let KJRH's "Big" Al Jerkins and Jason Shackleford do the honors. (Thanks KJRH-TV Tulsa, Oklahoma)

Here's the Texas angle as KTBC's Dave Cody talks to former Longhorn quarterback Peter Gardere about the Red River Rivalry which includes some classic David McWilliams video from 21 years ago. (Thanks KTBC-TV)
