TWTW I-AA: Hatch Attack Puts Up 72 For Murray State

((HT: WPSD-TV Paducah, KY))

The HQ had wondered aloud what had happened to Harlon Hill Award winner/Former Valdosta State-Georgia Southern head coach Chris Hatcher...

Now we know...

He's the new head coach at Murray State and they throw the ball...
And don't stop...

We envision games going for seven hours with all of the incompletions...

But, Saturday...

Casey Brockman set school records with 570 passing yards and seven touchdowns as Murray State beat Missouri State 72-59.

With the score tied 59-59 in the fourth quarter, Brockman hit Dexter Barnett on an 18-yard touchdown pass to give the Racers a 65-59 lead after a blocked extra point. Brockman added a 28-yard touchdown pass later in the quarter.

Why the hell not, right...???
But people in Statesboro are asking where this was when he was coaching there, we're quite sure...

Here's your highlights... abridged version...
Tom Annino can't contain his incredulity...

The game also marked the first time in I-AA history that a team had a 500 yd passer, 200 yd receiver, and 200 yd rusher in the same game. It was a game for that will be talked about by Racer fans for a long time. The Hatch Attack rocks...look for more highlights in 2011. Go Racers!
