Atlanta Thrashers goaltender Ondrej Pavelec gave the opening night crowd in Atlanta a scare and a half on opening night collapsing two-and-a-half minutes into the game against the Washington Capitals...

The last update the HQ is getting from the Thrash themselves is this:

Ondrej Pavelec lost consciousness during the first period of tonight’s game. He was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. No other information is available at this time.

Preliminary tests were negative. He’s awake and alert at the hospital and asking about the score of the game, but will be kept overnight for observation.
