While I was watching Roy Halladay's post season no hitter against the Cincinnati Reds I kept reminding my seven year old son who happens to be a big Halladay fan that he is witnessing something extremely rare in baseball. I told my son that I have never seen a post season no hitter and the only one that was thrown, Don Larsen's perfect game, his grandfather was 19.
It was a great baseball moment shared with my son.
By the way, there was a Dallas Green sighting in Philly who may be the only individual who witnessed Halladay's no hitter and Don Larsen's perfect game in person. (Thanks CSN Philly)
And here's a morning after report from NBC 10 Philadelphia.
