AJ Pierzynski pulled over for speeding while in uniform

AJ Pierzynski
So you are probably saying "What"? Not about the speeding, but why was he wearing the uniform and driving his own car to a baseball spring training game in Goodyear, Arizona.

Yeah, it is true. AJ Pierzynski, catcher and DH for the Chicago White Sox, was pulled over Wednesday afternoon for doing 75 in a 65 zone, while trying to get to today's game versus the Cincinnati Reds.

AJ had gotten permission from manager Ozzie Guillen to get himself to the ballpark. And he did. But not without becoming the butt of jokes. And he didn't deny it when asked.

Oh, Pierzynski by the way, went 0-3 in the game. And based on the fact that it was his manager who ratted him out via his Twitter account, there might be a "Kangaroo Court" fine, but that probably will be it.

So what's today's lesson boys and girls? If you can get a free bus ride to your game, maybe you should consider taking it. That is all....

If you want to know more about AJ Pierzynski, then watch this video, it should tell you everything you need to know:
